Technologically Challenged

So...here I am stewing about upcoming projects in *both* courses.

Create a data file in PDF?

Lest we forget, this is the same person that had issues trying to run DreamWeaver in 2001 and had to hand-code the online learning web site for the certification.

Interview a practitioner in eLearning?

What if I don't *know* any eLearning practitioners? And if I can find one, who in their right mind is gonna give some person off the street the time of day to talk to them?!?

*sigh*

Well, at least one problem *has* been solved. I've found a free, online convert your whatever documents into a PDF...and it works! Here's the link:

http://www.pdfonline.com/

I'll post this link to the 'cool tools' area of the courses...if I can ever find them again...

Leisa, don't be too discouraged! I am sure you will do fine on those big projects. They seem daunting at first...just thought I'd throw a little encouragement your way, you'll get through it!! Thanks for posting the pdf link too. I thought the way to change a document was just to change the name so it is document.pdf, but I suppose that wouldn't work!

Thanks for the encouragement, Chad. I guess I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed right now with all the reading and research.

I've been out of school so long that I had to research to remember exactly what an annotated bibliography is!

Thanks again for the encouragement!

Talk to your classmates; use the network/group that you are establishing in class. As you look for blogs and websites created by eLearning experts, find one you really like and email them. If you explain that this is for a class, the expert might just happen to listen. :) It never hurts to ask. Or choose to take time to ask your instructors rather than complaining in a blog that you know we are reading. :) eLearning still requires an adventurous attitude where sometimes you will feel like you're on the bleeding edge. You have to be willing to take a chance. Best of luck.
